Herbert Alex Simpson, 30, is accused of sending coach Tom Coughlin two threatening letters on July 30th and July 31st.
Simpson allegedly sent the two letters posing as two of his co-workers and threatened to reveal information of fictional sexual exploits. The two letters demanded Coughlin to pay $20,000 to $30,000 or his life would be “a living hell by doing something to (his) family.
Simpson said he never thought Coughlin would get the letters and he was just trying to get revenge on two co-workers over “a work-related issue.”
