Vinny DiTrani of The Record reports that the Giants did offer their first round pick for DeAngelo Hall, but the Falcons insisted that the Giants add RB Danny Ware into the trade.
The Giants backed off and didn’t want to include Ware in the deal.
Atlanta countered by asking for a first round pick and Grey Ruegamer, but by then the Giants didn’t want to trade for Hall because of the huge contract Hall would command.
The Raiders have reached a deal with the Falcons that would send their second round pick to Atlanta for Hall.
