According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, the Eagles are interested in Gibril Wilson.
The recent talk around Philly was that the Eagles were interested in Patriots cornerback Asante Samuel, but Samuel will command a much larger contract than Wilson. Samuel will likely get around $12 million a season with a $20 million signing bonus.
Gibril is a great player and I really can’t see us losing him to a rival like the Eagles. We really don’t have much depth at safety and can’t afford to lose Wilson. My guess is that Gibril just wants to test the market out and see how much money he can get out of the Giants…
